One of Encephalitis411's goals is to address the widespread and unmet needs of encephalitis patients in the U.S. due to a decentralized health system, HIPAA and unsettled insurance coverage issues. Resources are scarce and urgently needed. Your donation, large or small, can make a difference, save a life or even help find a cure.

$1,200 – connect patients and caregivers with support communities

$12,500 – develop outreach materials as leave behinds for hospitals
$15,000 – build a secure portal for physicians to collaborate on complex cases
$25,000 – access writing talent to apply for grants
$35,000 – support a research study on advancing knowledge of encephalitis from chicken pox
$50,000 – expand insurance coverage for those impacted
$75,000 - create more awareness on a larger scale and do outreach to hospitals for education opportunities
